The practice of portraiture from live model is an essential exercise to which it is essential to be devoted relentlessly.  I drew and painted thousands of these portraits during the years and I continue to find in this a great pleasure.  The posing times for this kind of portrait are from one to two hours by sequences of 20 minutes.

 

 

The live portrait is a nice exercise to do in good company. It is always pleasant to get out of our seclusion and to be among painters to share the same passion and exchange on our experiences.
