This self-portrait is an exercise of style. A performance demonstrating the tremendous plasticity of pastel; the ability to create all hues and values sought by having on hand only the three primary, blue, red, yellow and white.

Process:

We must feel the amount of each of pastel color to apply – and in what order – that the total overlays gives us the result projected without tiring his paper.
